A small Hampshire business, built on practical help
PA Mobility Ltd. grew out of our sister company, P&A Lift Installations. Seeing how much difference the right equipment made to people’s independence, we widened what we do beyond staircases.
How we started
P&A Lift Installations has fitted and repaired stairlifts and lifting equipment in homes across Hampshire for years. Working in people’s houses, we kept meeting the same situation: someone had a solution upstairs but nowhere to turn for the everyday things — getting to the front gate, managing the bathroom safely, or replacing a scooter battery that had quietly given up.
PA Mobility Ltd. is the answer to that. It is the same team, with a broader stock and a workshop that will look at equipment whether or not we supplied it.
Who we help
Our customers are a wider group than people expect. They include older residents who want to keep their independence, people living with a long-term condition or disability, people recovering from illness or surgery, and families buying on behalf of a relative who is not sure what they need yet.
We are not clinicians and we will never give medical advice. What we can do is explain how the equipment works, what it will and will not cope with, and encourage you to involve an occupational therapist, physiotherapist or GP where the decision really is a clinical one.
What working with us looks like
Ring us or send an enquiry and we will ask a few practical questions: where you need to go, how far, what the surfaces are like, where the equipment will live, and who will be lifting it. Then we will suggest options — often two or three, at different prices.
If it helps, we will bring the equipment to you so you can try it in your own home before deciding. There is no charge for that conversation and no obligation to buy.

We are based here rather than running a walk-in showroom, so please ring or send an enquiry before visiting — that way someone is free to give you proper attention.
What we stand for
We recommend, we do not just sell
If a product will not suit the way you live, we will say so. Sometimes the cheapest answer is the right one, and we would rather tell you that than take an order we regret.
We stay with you afterwards
Servicing, repairs, battery checks, and collection of equipment you no longer need. Buying should be the start of the relationship, not the end of it.
We are local, and we come to you
From Grateley we visit homes across Hampshire for assessments, demonstrations and quotations — because equipment that works in a shop does not always work in a hallway.
You can always speak to a person
No ticket numbers and no scripted responses. Ring us and you will speak to the people who know your equipment.
The team
We are writing proper introductions to the people here — names, roles, what they look after and how long they have been doing it — together with a genuine photograph of each of us. Nothing invented, and no picture-library stand-ins.
