Book a repair, service or home visit
Whether something has stopped working or you simply want your equipment checked over, book it here and we will come to you. Most users are sensible to have an annual service, and more often if the equipment is used daily.
What you can book
A repair
Something not working as it should. We find the fault, tell you what it needs and what that is likely to cost, and only start work once you have agreed.
An annual service
A proper examination rather than a wipe down: battery condition and charging, wiring and connectors, brakes, tyres and pressures, the tiller or joystick, seat fixings, and the frame checked for cracks or corrosion.
A home maintenance visit
A visit to check equipment over at home, adjust and tighten what has worked loose, and deal with the small jobs that build up over time.
We look after equipment whether or not you bought it from us. If you are not sure which of the three you need, choose “Not sure — please advise” on the form and we will work it out with you.
What happens next
- Tell us what to bookUse the form to say whether you would like a repair, a service or a maintenance visit, and which days or times suit you.
- We call you backWithin one working day we will confirm what is involved, what it is likely to cost, and agree a day and time with you.
- We come to youMost work is done at your home. If it is easier, you are welcome to bring the equipment to our base in Grateley instead.
- Tested before we leaveWe check the equipment works properly with you before we go, and explain in plain English what we found and what can wait until next time.
If the equipment is unsafe to use
Please stop using it and call us on 01264 243124 rather than waiting for the form to be picked up. Stairlift breakdowns are supported around the clock through our sister company, P&A Lift Installations.
