Home Visits & Demonstrations
We come to you with the equipment, take measurements, and talk through the options without any obligation to buy.
What it does
Why we come out
Equipment that works well in a shop entrance sometimes will not go through a side gate, up a path with a lip, or around the turn into a hallway. Seeing your own doorway, floor covering and storage space answers questions that no catalogue can.
What a visit involves
We ask how you get around at the moment, where you want to go and what you find difficult. We measure doorways, steps and turning space where it matters, and we bring equipment where it is practical to do so — so you can try it rather than look at it.
Getting a second opinion
If a family member or carer should be part of the conversation, invite them. Decisions made alone in a hurry are often the ones people regret, and we are happy to come back a second time.
Straight answers, including no
If what you want is not right for your situation, we will tell you and explain why. If nothing we supply would help, we will say that too and point you somewhere more useful where we can.
Who it’s suitable for
Anyone who is not sure what will suit them, who wants to compare options at home rather than online, or who needs someone to check whether equipment will physically fit.
Who it’s not suitable for
We cannot always bring every model out at once, and large items such as stairlifts are described from the survey rather than demonstrated. Home visits are arranged within our usual working hours and are subject to availability — a visit is not a promise of supply, and there is no charge for the conversation.

Talk it through with us
No obligation, and no pressure to buy. We will tell you honestly whether this is the right route for you.

Questions we are often asked
No. There is no charge for a home visit or a demonstration, and no obligation to buy anything afterwards. We would rather you took your time and chose properly than felt rushed into a decision.
Please invite them. Decisions made quickly and alone are the ones people most often regret, and a second pair of ears is genuinely useful when there is a lot of information to take in. We are also happy to come back a second time.
Nothing much. Wear the shoes you normally wear outside, have in mind the journeys you want to make and where the equipment will be kept, and make sure we can get to the space you want to use it in. If you have a list of questions, bring it — nobody remembers everything.
Usually within a few working days, depending on where you are and what you would like to see. Large items such as stairlifts need a survey, and we will give you a realistic time rather than an optimistic one.
